Chinese Medicine is a major component of complementary and alternative medicine and has been increasingly recognized on the global stage. With more clinical studies demonstrating its benefits, Chinese medicine contributes significantly to health care worldwide. To continue the advancement of this field, the Vincent V.C. Woo Chinese Medicine Clinical Research Institute was established with the generosity of the Vincent and Lily Woo Foundation.

Our vision is to be a world-leading research institution, with academic excellence in the standardization and internationalization of clinical research in Chinese medicine. The institute focuses on conducting high-quality clinical research in Chinese medicine across a wide range of diseases through multidisciplinary collaboration. We aim to deliver high-quality Chinese medicine evidence, promote the integration of Chinese and Western medicine, strengthen the innovation and translation of Chinese medicine findings, and benefit more patients in Hong Kong and worldwide. In addition to our research, we are committed to nurturing the next generation of talent for Chinese medicine clinical research, empowering them with the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to and lead the future of Chinese medicine.
